Description

I found interesting to have a comparison of what the Moon looks like in different color saturation levels.

So I've over-saturated the colors to have a better idea of how certain minerals are spread across the surface, which I find quite interesting to know about. There's a lot to talk about the science and geology behind the simple question "what color is the Moon", but briefly here are the main facts:

Highlands contain mainly: aluminum and silicon

Lowlands contain mainly: iron, magnesium, titan

Blue areas are rich in titanium while brown/orange is poor in iron and titanium

The Moon continues to intrigue me for being such a fascinating place.
